Don´t know if bug or feature:
I was able to "grab" a mission while in flight. I had departed with a mission, but pressed the wrong button and accidently "abandoned" the mission. But I was then offered a new list of missions and grabbed one. From then on it worked like usual: Kill some ground units, return to departure base, close-out.

HAJO What happens is that if you start FSCAI while you are setting on the ground at an airport and then take off, you can access the missions from that airport as if you were still there. If however you start FSCAI while in the air no missions will be available. I'm not sure myself if that's a bug or a feature. I've certainly taken advantage of it a few times. It seems logical to only get missions on the ground, but during testing, it can be convenient to grab them while in the air. Dutch

Thanks, sounds good!
Any idea when you will be able to offer an update of the current version?

It basically works but it thinks its running under V4 looks for the DLL reference there. Once that's done and some bugs are swatted I will release an update. Dutch

Single fire of rockets and bombs does not really work, all of them go away in pairs. You don´t see a pair coming off, but if you check status with F5, you´ll see that you´re expending 2 rounds per drop/fire.

Mission system, missions out of Quang Tri, VVQT:
Mission 57001 (Supplies to Khe Sanh), loads up, but then I get no response anymore when pressing "Shift + J"
All other missions are listed as "missing a file".

Just for the records:
AAA (not FLAK) seems to NOT traverse their mount and subsequently their aiming towards their target, they always shoot in the fixed direction of their vehicle axis, starting shooting when the target comes within their frontal 180° arc.
Also: What defines a helicopter for FSCAI? I had it several times that my helo wasn´t recognized as such.

HAJO I'm trying to see if I get the same thing, but I can't tell which particular weapons are you speaking about. Are you talking about the heavy AA (85mm to 100mm), medium AA (37mm - 57mm) or light AA (12.7mm to 25mm) and are they stand-alone guns or vehicle mounted? AAA (Anti-Aircraft Artillery) is definitely FLAK (which is just a term for exploding shells of various calibers).

I´m speaking about the medium AA, ZPU-2, ZSU-23, etc., those that are shown as eithe rred or green tracers in sim. If I recall I haven´t been hit by those for weeks now. They are still impressive, because they also generate a certain sound/noise (like a "swoooosh", which reminds me also of a close-flying AI-traffic), but they always seem to fire just into one direction and don´t follow me. I attached two pictures on this thread earlier on: fscaptain.proboards.com/attachment/download/1363fscaptain.proboards.com/attachment/download/1366The tracers never followed me, although I passed from east to west respective from north to south.
If I had been hit during the last weeks it was either the small calibres (machineguns up to 12,7mm) or the air-burst FLAK of KS-12 and KS-30.

I have found and fixed the problem with the AA guns not shooting in the right direction. I rarely saw them shooting straight north but I did catch them firing at ghosts in the wrong direction quite often.
This is now fixed, and so flying low and slow over tracer-AA will now get you some holes in your aircraft. Verified. The problem was introduced in a recent version by fixes that applied to missiles being launched.

Just curious...... what are you flying, where are you flying, what altitude are you flying......and are you at least jinking?

Well, this was during my AC-130 Gunship-trial: Around 1000ft AGL, 145KIAS, no jinking. But if you look at the times of the log-entries, this is a "short" view of something that happened within 2 seconds. It nearly froze my Sim and I have no idea if it is a necessary function or a bug.
