After having been explained how FSCAI-weapons work together with FSX@War (and how to avoid having serious trouble after a couple of objects have been killed with FSCAI-weapons, see here: fscaptain.proboards.com/post/26585/thread) I wonder if there is some tweaking possible/necessary for using CCP with FSCAI.
I attacked some CCP-convoys with FSCAI-Mavericks and noticed that after a couple of kills my FPS dropped again. Also, on PlanG I could see "effect"-objects starting their long travel north (see here: fscaptain.proboards.com/post/26572/thread).
On a sidenote: I killed a fuel truck with one of my first Mavericks and the secondary explosion of that truck killed some other vehicles - that was cool!
Another sidenote: I used my MK84s that have been "tweaked" for better usage with FSX@War (their effect is simulated by FSX@War and not FSCAI, you have to activate a FSX@War-scenario) against the CCP-convoy. But for some reason they didnĀ“t do any damage. I had a FSX@War-scenario activated, but it was about 300nm away (to not interfere my direct anti-convoy-operations). Could that be a source for "not doing damage" with the FSX@War-MK84s?

hi,
hello,
anyone know if carrier convoy planner will be compatible with prepar3d v5 ? "CCP can't find fsuipc.DLL" in modules folder for the moment and there is no modules folder under prepar3d v5...

Did you install FSUIPC 6.0.4? According to their web site, it's only version compatible with P3Dv5. Also, CCP might not work at all until VRS updates Tacpack to work with P3Dv5, since CCP was essentially designed to work with Tacpack.

hi,
yes i installed fsuipc 6.04 but installation folder is not the same with prepar3d v5. There is no modules folder in prepar3dv5 anymore, and fsuipc seem to be installed outside prepar3d. But you're right for the moment no tack pack yet, so i'll wait for compatible version to see if ccp will work with v5
thanks

Just to make things clear : Nor CCP neither FSX@War need Tacpack. Both are completed and standalone programs.
CCP is just an AI Traffic program that user can define : 1. specific Wpts for the AIs (planes, boats, vehicles) to follow & 2. Starting hours for the AIs to move. No Tacpack needed.

xpel, do you remember the video you made for me to change some settings of FSCAI-weapons and make them "FSX@War"-compatible? Where I added a "new" MK84 to FSX@War and reduced the Potency for this specific MK84 in FSCAI to "0".
Yesterday I tested this setting again, but this time I kept the Potency of the MK84 in both systems (FSX@War & FSCAI), because I had the feeling that CCP-objects did not receive damage from FSX@War-Bomb-Potency. My test worked good without any trouble...

Yes, that is right. I've mentioned that. This method is for destroying FSX@War targets exclusively - only. Benefit is that FSCAI destruction mechanisms, do not interfere to @war damage calculations to targets, ie, messing fsx@war up...
If FSCAI potency is set to 0, then AI weapons can't harm simobjects placed with CCP (or other methods different than FSX@War).
So it depends on the final result you want to have. You can also have combinations. Say, AIs firing AGMs that destroy CCP moving simobjects (say a convoy) and then proceed to @war targets using bombs that destroy exclusively them (FSCAI potency 0).
I use guns with potency 0 and few rounds to my AIs, for simulating the virtual dogfighting that takes place over Aegean sea for few decades now... This way, AIs engage normally, they shoot each other and to me but no-one takes damage. When they are out of ammo, they revert to "searching" state, thus disengaging. This concept will be presented in a next video of mine.

Yes, they will open and will (for the most part) work without Tacpack. CCP does have some Tacpack specific parts to it though.

Hi,
You can try this (version 1.4.0.0):
link
I have not P3D V5 so I can't test if it is ok or not. Give me the result of your tests, please.

Hi, Can you confirm that : - you have installed FSUIPC 6.05 ? - FSUIPC6.dll is presnt in this folder %userprofile%\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSUIPC6 ? - the size of FSXatWarConvoyPlanner_P3D.exe in CCP folder is 1 371 648 octets ?
If size is not 1 371 648 octets and date of file is not 02/05/2020, try to re-install update.
Thanks
