I just tried to add the OV-10 Bronco to the list of FSCAI-supported aircraft. So far it´s showing as a wingman if I add one, but it´s not supported with weapons = not recognized as combat aircraft.
I had added the following:
atc_model=O10 Bronco atc_model=OV10 Bronco
to the "Combat.cfg"-file in Config_STD
OV10,O10,Aircraft,1,0,150,160,A,MK82-12,LAU68-4,50CAL-4,,,,,
to the "Vehicles.cfg"-file in both Config_STD as well as Config_USER
I did not enter anything into the "SimObject.cfg" - do I need to?

I haven't tried that yet, but it looks like Dutch covered the subject pretty well on page 15 of the FSCAI Preliminary PDF. Hope that helps.

1. I believe "atc_model" must not have spaces & try not to use more than 7 letters/characters (in just a single word).
2. Teams ? Is it declared to a team file ?

No, it´s not yet declared to a Team-file.
Concerning the spaces: I followed the example of the other entries, and they do have a single space between designation and name. So, that can´t be the problem. Maybe it really is the missing entry in the "SimObject"-file.

I believe what you see as wingman is a copy of your plane, because though atc_model=O10 Bronco at aircraft.cfg, you have declared as atc_model=O10 at vehicles.cfg... So, FSCAI can't find the plane you have declared in vehicles. As of the spaces, I insist !... FSCAI doesn't read spaces and substitutes spaces with "_". So atc_model name becomes : O10_Bronco for FSCAI. And this doesn't exist. You'll see that, if you add the plane to "Wings.cfg".

So you think I should add another line in "Vehicles.cfg", like this: OV10,OV10,Aircraft,1,0,150,160,A,MK82-12,LAU68-4,50CAL-4,,,,,
