Can someone give me an example of how to weaponize ships and boats?
I found this (among others) in the "simobject.cfg":
In my "boats"-folder I have a couple of warships, I randomly picked this:
title=USS_Baltimore_FSX
What do I need to do to have it correctly listed in the FSCAI-simobject.cfg and then weaponized (with some FLAK and SAM) in the vehicles.cfg?

It doesn't have to be listed in the SimObject.cfg file to be weaponized. The purpose of that file is to give standard names and link them to a list of actual titles. If you use an actual title when you create the vehicle instead of a standard name then it skips looking up in the SimObject.cfg file.
Ships are weaponized the same as airplanes or ground objects. Create a vehicle entry in the database, giving the title of the ship you want to weaponize, in your case USS_Baltimore_FSX, and attach the weapons you want to the ship same as you would a ground vehicle.
Ship support is still rather limited. We need to allow more guns, etc, and allow them to be positioned on the ship. But right now, ships are treated just like ground vehicles.

So, only one gun-type per platform? Can I have both gun and SAM-system on one platform? Specific positioning of the weapons on the ship itself is no issue for me, it´s the fact that they fire it that counts!
And, just to be sure, could you do one entry as example for me? With the aforementionend Baltimore?

You can attach up to 8 weapons, each one can be any type. However, this hasn't been tested as most of the ground vehicles only have one weapon attached to them.
This is the entry it created for me when I added it via the Vehicles Database UI:
USS_Baltimore,USS_Baltimore,Ship,3,50,24,180,USS_Baltimore_FSX,ZU-23,SA-13,ZSU-37,,,,,

I thought I had provoced that error by deleting the "vehicles.cfg" out of the "Config_User"-folder, keeping it only in the "Config_STD"-folder. After I put the same Vehicle.cfg-file in both folders, I still got these strange wrong designations. Here is the complete log:

I just checked my "weaponized" ships again and found two "bugs".
1. Even though I have armed them with multiple weapons (AI_USS_Pinckney,AI_USS_Pinckney,Ship,3,50,24,180,AI_USS_Pinckney,SA-13,ZU-23,ZSU-37,,,,,), they always only used the first one listed. USS Pinckney opened up with the ZU-23 only, and when I changed the setting to list the SA-13 first, it only used the SA-13.
2. They seem to shoot their guns only in one direction, the direction the ship is heading to. I passed over the ship from east to west (ship is heading north) and all their tracers went directly north.
