Here is the video of last night's full FSCAI mission - startup to landing, no cuts. I accompany a flight of Bf-109s escorting two flights of HE-111 bombers on a cross-channel strike against the RAF airfield at Hawkinge. If you're impatient the action starts at 22:00 minutes in, but I recommend the full video if you have the time. Spectacular view of 80 bombs falling on the airfield, destroying buildings, AAA, and some aircraft, followed by multiple dogfights with Spitfires, showcases my poor aiming abilities and generally lackluster dogfighting skills. But I am getting better - thanks to FSCAI. Luftwaffe Strikes RAF Hawkinge, September 1940.Enjoy! Dutch

Looking at the video I already see a bug. When the two damaged spitfires disengaged and headed for home the 109's should have backed off since the Spits were disabled. But instead they bore in and ultimately "stole" the kill from me. But in fairness, I shouldn't have been after them either. It wasn't gallant and actually stupid since there could have been more behind me.

FSCAI has great potential !... That was just beautiful for what FS...was...
It would be nice if skilled AI pilots would check their "six" also and not totally commited to their target. This was the way we protected our own AIs or players in MP in IL2-1946, forcing hostile AIs to break from their target for not being shot down.

I think perhaps they should check six every so often and how often is based on their skill level. But I want to preserve the ability to sneak up on them because in reading so many accounts lots of aces scored many of their victories that way - sneak techniques against unwary opponents. Also, coming out of the sun helps and I need to add that to the document.
