I made several slow, low passes right over the ZSU-23 at 3000 ft and below at 250 kts and below yet they did not fire on me. In version 2 they did.
I reviewed the log and they targeted me, but never fired on me. I flew straight and level for 10 miles directly at the them and over them. They targeted me and in less than 10 sec dropped me "out of range". I am curious if anyone knows why.
I was using FSX@War to place the ZSU-23. When FSCAI initialized, it found "FSX@WAR=0". Was that why they never fired on me?
Dutch, are any specific updates planned? I could provide some additional entries for the vehicles list if wanted.
Dutch has several other "irons on the fire" so while it's not unexpected to have him go OFFCOMMS (Off Communication), I know that he has one or two extra items that he has to handle in the next week or three....
All will be well in the FSCAI world as long as Dutch is around....
Thanks for the reply! I simply asked because I have also some things I´d like to address concerning further development of FSCAI, for instance the addition of armed ships (which seems to be working to 95%) and, more important, the issue of proper team-assignments for individual units. And of course I´d like to thank for the whole development itself and don´t want to sound like I´m a demanding customer...
Just yesterday it occured to me what what great potential this all has, after flying over South Vietnam in FSX and seeing all those AI-boats and ships that come with the "Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club ships and traffic"-file.
I´ll stand by to assist with log-files and/or testing.
Development is proceeding, but as Travis says, it's not constant because I have several direct revenue projects I'm working on and this is not a direct revenue project. I'm passionate about it and have been for years, but occasionally I have to concentrate on something else for a while.
I'll certainly fix any significant bugs when they appear.

I've been trying out third Alpha release of FSCAI and from what I've seen so far, it's going to be a terrific addition to FSX. Last week I started getting an FCAID.dll third party error message when loading FSX. If I answer yes, FSX CTDs. Same problem others have experienced in the past. I ran the FSCAI Registry Fix no errors. Any insight would be great fully appreciated.
If you're seeing something else, then please send us the message that you're seeing and ignore the rest of this message.
We have two "RegFixer" EXEs - one to scan for "FSCaptain.dll" and one to scan for "FSCAI.dll".
All that our two RegFixers do is to scan a specific Windows Registry entry... IIRC it's CurrentUser\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers and looking for string entries that include "IGNOREFREELIBRARY". If RegFixer find any entry which matches our DLL name, it asks for permission to remove the entry.
If you have ran RegFixer_FSCAI.exe, it should have created log file(s) that you could email us. Look for .log files beginning with "RegFixer_FSCAI_" (I prefer email when it comes to unknown registry data.)
I would add that we've only tested RegFixer.exe with Windows 7. I'm waiting until the last minute (and some post-Holiday downtime) to build a new WinX PC.

Ran new regfixer appears to have fixed the issue. No error messages and FSCAI appears to be running properly. Will continue to test and provide updates. Thanks again for your assistance and quick response
