I am using two different sound cards and currently, the voices are comjjng over the sound card that has the sound for the engines. It would be nice to be able to pick the sound csrd you wish to use.

Hi Rlbomber!
Dutch can step in and correct me here, but I feel that until we ever remake FSCaptain from anew, there's not much we can do with the sound engine. Sorry!
Best regards,

No worries, it's not a deal breaker.

Maybe a little trick I used to help you; Some of the Add-ons and FSX, you can select the sound card you want to use for speech and for "background" sound. I'm using FSX, VOXATC, FS2Crew and FSCaptain. FSCaptain is using the (windows) default sound card. So what I did is that I use my windows default sound card to connect my headphones, my "secondary" sound card for my speakers. In that case you will have the FSCaptain sound coming out of the headphones and you can program the FSX(engine sound), VOXATC and so on to your liking, choosing what comes out of the speakers and what into the headphones. Divide a paper into two columns, one for speaker and one for headphones and write down what you want to hear from where and program accordingly. Cheers, Luc

That's a good point Luc... and since FSCaptain is married to our sound engine as-is, it's unfortunate that we can't offer the choice. Best,
