I've enjoyed this standalone capability since it came out. However, I'm now on P3D v4.4 and when I install it and put the DLL reference in the dll.xml the FSCAI.exe errors out like this:  I've run the FSCAI Registry tool and it said I didn't need to do anything. I have included the latest log. FSCAI.DLL_20190116_224729.log (380 B) Thank you in advance for your response. Very Respectfully, Doc |

Hi Doc,
welcome to the forum. Apparently, FSCAI looks for the wrong simulator. Can you confirm that you have installed the 64-bit version of FSCaptain? P3D v4 will only work with that version.

Hello Doc,
It's looking as if you may be using the SC-32 version of FSCaptain - the "RegFixer" is only intended for FSX installations.
Could you please check?

I don't have FSCaptain, I installed components contained in this zip file: FSCAI_Alpha_SC64_171127.zip So it's a 64bit version and I could have sworn I ran it before I upgraded to v4.4. As for FSCaptain, I'm a mil-sim pilot/retired USAF aviator, so I'm not sure how much of the additional features I need other than FSCAI to get AAA to work in threat scenarios...any help or advice I'm all ears?

That's fine, I'll check back in later. On another note, the more I thought of it...the install dialog is strange, why would the reference "FSX" even be on a 64 bit installer? Could it be a bad installer?  |

hi Doc,
It looks like there may be a problem in the installer. I'm away from the dev machine right now, but when I get back I'll check this out. There's nothing in FSCAI that's incompatible with 4.4 but it somehow looks like it's looking for the FSX dll.xml file.

I've not heard from Dutch this week - he's in an area where it's been very chilly recently, so he may have been stockpiling firewood....
