Hello, I'm a user of P3D V4, and I've recently bought both FSCaptain and installed FSCAI for my tacpack missions, in which I've had a few issues. Initially, it was that when I started the FSCAI program it indicated to me that it was either not registered in the dll.xml program of FSX/P3D wasn't running. I cleared the dll.xml file of any FSCAI references and reinstalled FSCAI. That resolved that problem. However, when I was flying over FSXWAR AAA I was not being fired at, and when I connected the FSCAI program to P3D, it would give me the indication of connection(?), but would not display any objects on its list, let alone its difficulty levels etc. I also tried to resolve this by reinstalling simconnect. So, I'm a little confused to say the least.
Is it worthy of note to say that when I look at FSCaptain tabs from the addons menu, when I click on 'logbook' (or something or that nature), the sim abruptly closes without any post warning?
I hope you can help me, Peter

Hello Peter, and thanks for your report. As for your main issue, Dutch has been away for our extended holiday weekend, and should be back online tomorrow or Wednesday. We've flagged this for his attention. As for this... That shouldn't be related.
About this... I would ask you to make this happen again, and note which menu item that causes the CTD.
Then email us the FCDU and FSCaptain logs that were generated... along with the Windows Application Event Log data on the crash. (Did P3D crash directly, or did something else crash which caused P3D to crash? Etc.)
With regards,

Hi Peter,
If you installed FSCAI separately from FSCaptain, then you have two copies of it. One is the standalone version named FSCAI and the other is the one bundled with FSCaptain itself, named FSCCAI.
This shouldn't be a problem, but it could be.
Do you have a folder named FSCAI under your root folder?
If so, there is a folder inside that named 'Logs'.
In there will be a set of files that contain info about FSCAI and what it's doing.
If you could zip up that 'Logs' folder and sent it to us that would probably help us locate the problem.
Thanks Dutch
