Hi all ! Did anyone try to file his Pireps to his VA's website and see the results their instead of the FsCaptain web site ? Basically I'm using phpvms website: www.phpvms.net/ and I built there my website, I followed the instruction to create DB tables on this site : www.fspassengers.com/?action=va they say FsCaptain's reports are identical to Fspassenger's Pireps... SITUATION: I fly a flight, I send the PIREP via FsCaptain export, the sending goes successful , I go to my website's DB and I see perfectly the result of the flight. PROBLEM: When I send the Pirep on my VMS website I dont have any Pirep pending to accept (as admin) like if the VMS php is not reading what the DB is sending ! QUESTIONS1- Did any one of you use Fscaptain for his VA? If yes what did you do to visualize your PIREPs? 2- Could you please explain me where exactly where should I insert this line ? I didn't quite understand the read me provided in this file 179_PHP_VirtualAirlineScript15.zip downloaded from Fspassengers www.fspassengers.com/forum/read.php?f=1&i=7918&t=7918 ****************************************** SEEING EXPORTED STATS ****************************************** A basic script is included FsPListFlight.php, it remain VERY basic will give only a rough list of the flight in the database so this one has to be tuned... A lot can be done, you can display any value you want and forget the others, mix value to give per pilot or user stats, overall stats, make query by somes value etc. THIS SCRIPT IS INTENDED TO BE INCLUDED IN ANOTHER PAGE not to be viewed alone, at worse you just need to include header and footer to it... if you have a site with the index that include other page you probably just need to do something like that in index.php: if($display=="va") { include "va/FsPlistFlight.php" } another style: if($display=="va") { include "include/header.php" include "include/FsPlistFlight.php" include "include/footer.php" } or if you want to link directly to the FsPlistFlight.php or your custom script you'll need probably to include the header and footer. Look to the FsP demo page here: www.fspassengers.com/?action=vato have a view of what can be done (remain basic but a bit better) ****************************************** ****************************************** Please guys DO REPLY I need immediate assistance ! Thank you in advance

It sounds from your description like you have a database problem on your vms site. There are so many possibilities there it's hard to diagnose with actually tinkering with the settings and code on the site itself. It's probably something quite simple -- once we find it. For testing purposes, I use the completely unmodified publicly available FsP scripts on the FSCaptain site, to be sure that FSCaptain is 100 percent compatible with the FsP reporting scheme. If you haven't changed those scripts in any way then it's a database settings problem also surely. As for your question, I didn't use that line at all, I simply have the link to call the FsPlistFlight.php directly: www.fscaptain.net/vat/FsPlistflight.php...where 'vat' is the folder where the php is stored. Hi Dutch ! Finally I hear you ! A special thanks from Cargoitalia Virtual and Thomas Zaniboni ! We have been contacting you for FsCaptain promotion on our website, our policy is that all our VA pilots should use obligatory a valid licence of FsCaptain, so we wish to put FsCaptain's logo and link on our website if that's possible ! As for the issue I noticed some few things: 1- Today I bid a flight on the company website that I have also in my FsCaptain schedules. 2- I flew the flight and I exported it and everything went perfectly ok , I wen to www.cargoitaliavirtual.com/va/FsPlistflight and I saw the flight all perfect ! 3- In my web site database the flight was inserted correctly 4- I noticed that VMS database have a different Pirep format like this : CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `phpvms_pireps` ( `pirepid` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, `pilotid` int(11) NOT NULL default '0', `code` char(3) NOT NULL default '', `flightnum` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '0', `depicao` varchar(4) NOT NULL default '', `arricao` varchar(4) NOT NULL default '', `route` text NOT NULL, `route_details` text NOT NULL, `aircraft` varchar(12) NOT NULL default '', `flighttime` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '', `flighttime_stamp` time NOT NULL, `distance` smallint(6) NOT NULL default '0', `landingrate` float NOT NULL default '0', `submitdate` datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00', `accepted` smallint(6) NOT NULL default '0', `log` text NOT NULL, `load` int(11) NOT NULL, `fuelused` float NOT NULL default '0', `fuelunitcost` float NOT NULL default '0', `fuelprice` float NOT NULL default '5.1', `price` float NOT NULL, `flighttype` varchar(1) NOT NULL default 'P', `gross` float NOT NULL, `pilotpay` float NOT NULL, `expenses` float NOT NULL, `expenselist` blob NOT NULL, `revenue` float NOT NULL, `source` varchar(25) NOT NULL, `exported` tinyint(4) NOT NULL, `rawdata` text NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`pirepid`) ) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 AUTO_INCREMENT=2 ;
-- -- Dumping data for table `phpvms_pireps` --
INSERT INTO `phpvms_pireps` (`pirepid`, `pilotid`, `code`, `flightnum`, `depicao`, `arricao`, `route`, `route_details`, `aircraft`, `flighttime`, `flighttime_stamp`, `distance`, `landingrate`, `submitdate`, `accepted`, `log`, `load`, `fuelused`, `fuelunitcost`, `fuelprice`, `price`, `flighttype`, `gross`, `pilotpay`, `expenses`, `expenselist`, `revenue`, `source`, `exported`, `rawdata`) VALUES (1, 1002, 'CRG', '638', 'LIMC', 'LEIB', 'NEDED UM984 DIVKO UN852 VERSO UL129 POS', 'a:0:{}', '1', '1.30', '01:30:00', 521, 0, '2010-05-23 18:14:09', 1, '', 82037, 12863, 1, 13506.2, 0, 'P', 0, 160, 0, 0x30, -13714.2, 'manual', 0, '');
As you can see VMS has pilotid instead of Username it has flightnum instead of flightid !!!! So personally I think have to change these parameters so both these guys listen to each others ! What do you think ?

Your plan sounds good to me. The pirep formats will need to match or things won't be right! At the moment I'm concentrating on getting the airport rebuild process bug-free!
Absolutely no problem using the logo and link on the website!
Thanks for all your work, Dutch

Hey Dutch nice to hear you back ! I am still working on getting the file right so it works I made some experiments : I renamed the file FsPgetflight.php in fscaptain.php and modified the file like fspax.php found in core/modules/ACARS, (on the vms website also on our ftp) I placed fscapatain.php in ACARS folder I bid a flight and tried to export it. The export path I used in the FsCaptain configuration is: action.php/acars/fscaptain I tried to send it and now its better its not saying anymore could not connect but it says "Flight 644 NOT exported" you can see the log screenshots and the files modified in this zip file www.mediafire.com/?zwaf4y04wmx please give me 5 minutes of your time again to resolve this problem ! As for the logo on our site ...would it be possible from your side to have our VA logo on fscaptain ? Thanks a lot

Hi maiochine,
Your website looks great! I don't see any obvious problem in the code you posted. In order to test and find your problem, could you send me all of the PHP code that you are using to process the reports (to dutch@fscaptain.net). I'll set it up in test mode on my site and give it a try.

Hi Dutch I have a request for you for the update you are making for FsCaptain ! Please its important because we continue to have pilots joining our VA and buying FsCaptain, and your decision would be very important to continue using FsCaptain or abbandon it !!!
So what I'm asking if you could please make the export of FsCaptain exactly like phpvms tables like the one I attached in this post, that way we can have automatic pireps on our database without manual intervention and also we discovered lately the possibility to show best landings of the month the TOP TEN landings ! But as the FsCaptain pirep fields are different that the module we are using ...again we are having troubles !!!
So please please Dutch try to make us this small favor because its really important for us to decide whethere continue using FsCaptain or not !
I'm waiting for you reply
code:
CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `phpvms_pireps` ( `pirepid` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, `pilotid` int(11) NOT NULL default '0', `code` char(3) NOT NULL default '', `flightnum` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '0', `depicao` varchar(4) NOT NULL default '', `arricao` varchar(4) NOT NULL default '', `route` text NOT NULL, `route_details` text NOT NULL, `aircraft` varchar(12) NOT NULL default '', `flighttime` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '', `flighttime_stamp` time NOT NULL, `distance` smallint(6) NOT NULL default '0', `landingrate` float NOT NULL default '0', `submitdate` datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00', `accepted` smallint(6) NOT NULL default '0', `log` text NOT NULL, `load` int(11) NOT NULL, `fuelused` float NOT NULL default '0', `fuelunitcost` float NOT NULL default '0', `fuelprice` float NOT NULL default '5.1', `price` float NOT NULL, `flighttype` varchar(1) NOT NULL default 'P', `gross` float NOT NULL, `pilotpay` float NOT NULL, `expenses` float NOT NULL, `expenselist` blob NOT NULL, `revenue` float NOT NULL, `source` varchar(25) NOT NULL, `exported` tinyint(4) NOT NULL, `rawdata` text NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`pirepid`) ) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 AUTO_INCREMENT=47 ;
