Roger that. It's in the notebook, under the heading, "when Dutch has a few minutes free...."

I would like the next version to change the flight number that fsx sees for each leg. If not, then I would have to reload the aircraft with a new flight number...

Add passenger sounds for puking when aircraft is flown with excessive maneuvering :-)
I get this now, but I think the sound files are from another add on, even though I don't use it anymore.

Regular aircraft maintenance including increasing probability of failures after prolonged periods of no maintenance. The money earned can be used for that potentially. Sounds like FSPassengers, yes, but that also was a good feature.

Ok, this is a very minor 'enhancement'. Schedules could use a Callsign column. Right now the column Flight is the callsign (flightnumber), but this number is unique and Airlines are not always that structured in setting up their schedules. I have seen consecutive flight with the exact same Flightnumber and legs many times times carry on the same flightnumber. So right now I have a spreadsheet with the callsign, but it would be nice to have everything handy in FS Captain. By the way, are there any special reason that Flight is a unique number? Database restraint? Keep up the good work though

Three more suggestions: - In "Airline Definitions", automatically load the active airline. It sure would save me a bit of time - Provide a sample .asp script for submitting the data to a VA that uses Microsoft databases. I prefer php, but both of my VAs don't accept FSCaptain submissions because their web forms are not compatible with the data that FSCaptain provides. - Give the user the option to provide schedule departure times in UTC. I know this has been brought up before, but I am currently trying to make an FSCaptain schedule for the 1000s of flights that my VA offers and the local departure time is the major obstacle in getting this done.

Peter, In order... - Good suggestion!
- Are you asking for the web server script that accepts the FSCaptain reports?? I know it's FSPassengers format, but that's all I do know....
- That would take a serious reworking of some of the models, and I'm still hoping to implement a timezone database one day. Something will have to be addressed though, maybe in FSCaptain 2.0?

Hi Travis, both of my VAs use .asp files for their web pages and it seems the standard php script provided on the FSPax web page doesn't work with it. So far I haven't been able to dig deeper (I'm not part of the management) but I have the impression that a sript written in the asp language instead of php might help to popularize FSCaptain among VAs. Cheers, Peter

Some more suggestions for the "Virtual Airline Export" popup window:
- Make the window resizeable. I am currently trying to fix issues with my VA web page and cannot read the error message because FSCaptain cuts it off.
- Allow a user to export to more than one VA at the same time.

at the same time?

Yes, at the same time. Not for cheating, but for record keeping. I have my own mysql database for my flights and I want to export it to my VA, too. The latter export is still experimental and doesn't work all the time.

If not resizeable, the window/control may be made scrollable...
Exporting to more than one VA at a time might be difficult, as we've never until now been asked to consider such....

Hi- I didn't want to make a whole new post for this, just an observation from a new user checking out the demo.
Is there any chance that the usage criteria for the demo could maybe include a limited total number of flights, or maybe a time-limit.
As it is I would get a lot more out of testing it if I could fly my regular routes down in New Zealand, as opposed to the States. At the moment I am just doing pretty ad-hoc flights from KSEA to KSFO..(I had to use Flight Aware to find somewhere to fly to from KSEA!). I don't have any charts or scenery etc for this area etc. It is just a lot more untidy for me (I even had the screen black out a few times and load scenery - is this standard? Never happened to me before flying with ORBX scenery down home). Also as I made an Air New Zealand airline to fly and imported all the AirNZ schedules from WOAI - I had to make 1 specific flight from KSEA to KSFO in the schedule for the airline to so I could fly something in the demo...it wasn't coming up with any flights for me (popped up a charter flight just this morning).
Obviously this is no biggie, as you still get to test out the actual features of the program, just asking if this is a possibility - would be much nicer flying a scheduled flight down home with all my scenery/charts/routes etc.

Hi, I must admit I also enjoy the ORBX NZ scenery a lot more than most of the US sceneries, so I can understand your point. I am not a developer so I can't change the rules for you, but .. .. if you can entertain the thought to stick to North America for evaluating FSCaptain, there is no better place to quickly find all (freeware) resources that you will need: fltplan.com/ for all up-to-date maps www.simbrief.com/home/ for flight planning www.freewarescenery.com/fsx.html for tons of freeware scenery In particular, there are quite a few ORBX freeware airports available for the area. Cheers, Peter
