Nothing, I can't. The FCDU detects the RJ85 correctly with all the datas I entered. I can even select a flight within it. But the FCOM.log says: ERROR: LoadAircraft not opened (G:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\MICROSOFT GAMES\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\FSCaptain\Aircraft\BA46.cfg)
For all three versions of BA46. It seems it keeps looking for the old definiton I deleted, and can't find the new one. By the way, I deleted it within the Admin, not manually. I'll be waiting for Dutch and Trav

A few pointers:
* BA46.cfg should not exist in your "FSX\FSCaptain\Aircraft" folder. If it does: delete it. It is tied to the old definition that we're no longer using. Neither should the "BA46" string exist in any form in any of the FSCaptain config files.
* You should have atc_model=RJ70, atc_model=RJ85, atc_model=RJ1H declaration respectively in the aircraft.cfg files for each of those varieties, [General] section
* You should have RJ70.cfg, RJ85.cfg and RJ1H.cfg files in your "FSX\FSCaptain\Aircraft" folder. If you don't, let the FCDU/FCOM generate them when you first login into FSCAptain via the gauge. And then edit them with the proper characteristics via the Admin. Of course you can also create/edit these files manually.
* If done properly RJ70.cfg, RJ85.cfg and RJ1H.cfg should have the following lines in them: Type=RJ70, Type=RJ85, Type=RJ1H

That's what I did. Ba46.cfg doesn't exist anymore and I have the new cfg's properly configured and set ad you say. I can try again deleting them all and re create again..

Hey guys, I just purchased your great software but unfortunately have some issues with the QW Avro.
I tried both methods explained but the FS Captain Adminstrator would just not recognise the different AVRO planes. I don't know what I am doing wrong. The ACARS created a BA46 profile. I deleted it. I even asigned numbers to the atc_id but it wouldn't work either
Would somebody plz post the cfg or might be willing to help me.
Thanks
Greetings from Germany Dom

Hey Dom read from the beginning this thread it's all there. Even though I was hoping for Dutch's reply on my issue. Maybe you'll have more luck.

If you could post or send me the aircraft.cfg from the QW Avro I could probably figure this out for you. I don't have the airplane myself. I think Travis does but he's not available for a while.

Sorry fede I've been down with a sinus infection that makes it impossible to concentrate on bug fixes. I'll get back on this ASAP.

The ACARS Installer doesnt install the panel onto certain aircraft...such as the default DC-3 or the King Air...as well as other posky and thomas ruth planes from my VA. Any possible reason why this is so? I hit install but the plane doesnt appear in dispatch. What should I do if I am missing anything? and I did try the solution in the original post. Its just not working out unfortunately...even on default planes mentioned above..

Don't you worry Dutch, take your time. I know you'll fix it. I'm focusing more on the NGX and MD11 lately Cheers

Hi,
I am also having same kind of problem with PMDG NGX800. I tried all of the proposed solutions above, no luck. The process I follow is: -I run FSX, load PMDG 800 -Run FCDU, I see "SELF-TEST OK" -Couple of seconds later <PMDG 737NGX> appears -I login check info -Gives me the configuration of B737 -I quit, go to FS Captain admin -Create a new aircraft based on B738, apply
Does not appear on Flight Dispatch!
Your help will be really appreciated, something must be wrong with my procedure I suppose.
Cheers

Just solved it by deleting B737 and B738 .cfg from the aircraft folder.
