Hello, I just purchased this last night and finally able to get the install going. Install checks out no issues, however when i direct it to the config file for the QualityWings Bae 146 (ultimate) folder I have it does not read it properly. It reads the default config file for the RJ70 as a McDonnell Douglas MD-82? It does fill in all of the blanks but I know those numbers are not correct.
Within FSX and I open up ACARS and navigate to the options, it reads everything perfectly so I am not sure what more I need to do. Any assistance would be much appreciated

Hi Noodle,
I have that plane and it works fine on my system. What exactly do you mean with "direct it to the config file for the QualityWings Bae 146 (ultimate) folder"? Normally, FSCaptain should find the plane and its aircraft.cfg file automatically. You should only need to edit aircraft files if you use "Aicraft Characteristics" or "Load Maps" in FSCaptain's Administrator, but this only deals with files in your FSCaptain folder.
Could you maybe let me know the exact procedure you are trying to do?
Thanks, Peter

Perhaps I am doing something wrong. After install I open up the administrator and look at flight dispatch and I do not see it there. So I figure ok jump over to the a/c characteristics tab to maybe point it to the config file for the a/c and it but no luck. In the Simobjects directory for the aircraft the default qualitywings avro rj70 exists along with the defaults but thats where i'm confused as to why it doesnt see it

FSCaptain usually checks out your Simobjects directory automatically, so your plane should be offered in the Flight Dispatch. Have you enabled the economic mode? The Aircraft Characteristics tab deals with FSCaptain files only (in FSCaptain\Aircraft), it wouldn't accept the aircraft.cfg file from the Simobjects directory. Can you send me your latest Admin and FCDU log files so that I can have a closer look at this (see my signature for my email address)? Best, Peter
