Hi,
same issue for me.
I use ASE Next in client configuration and with the 1.5.1 I not read the weather data from ASE Next and sometime goes in CTD.
Thanks in advanced

I agree,
This is with ASN SP1. Apparently the data is 3 million plus days old. Not sure if the new snapshot has a timestamp on it or if it's just being misread by FSC. Accessing the weather options also produced a CTD but i eventually got that sorted by re-installing from scratch.

The 3 million hour old weather is my bad. It also affected the crash prevention when the Weather Options button is selected.
For now, edit your profile.cfg file manually as Andy just noted... adding the path to your weather engine. Ignore any messages saying your weather is too old.
We'll have a new Beta out very soon with these fixes....

Hello to all.
Not a big beta tester so I'm wondering if I should install this Beta 2 version... or I should wait for a more stable one.
Opinions are appreciated.

It's a lot more stable than 1.5.0. If there are no major problems reported in a week or so, the Beta will be blessed and it will be 1.5.1 officially.
Just make a good & safe backup of your 1.5.0 install.
Then "install" the fixpack to a "phoney folder" like C:\CheckOut151Beta\ and after it writes its files there, you can copy the gauges & the binaries (and the new documentation) over to your real installation folder and run them from there.
There are also three new \config\ files, and I've updated some of the \aircraft\ and \maps\. (There's a set of Metroliner III files, and I tweaked the 777-200 as I was writing the CaptainSim interface.)
As long as you maintain a backup, you can revert back to 1.5.0 by reversing the process I just described.

Thanks, Travis for the info.
I'll give it a try. If things go wrong, I guess I can return to 1.5.0 easily.

Right you are Nick!
Just copy back over the .GAU .EXE and .DLL files from your 1.5.0 backup, along with any log or configuration file changes.
I think you'll like 1.5.1... the next version (which I'm working on) will have an enhanced Manifest generator, plus some other new features, as well as any bug fixes that come along the way....
The UI won't change radically until we're ready to release The Next Big Version (Whatever the Version Number Will be).
