Hi, I'm having a problem with the FCDU in the A2A Piper Cherokee. If I try to open the window I get a message that says the program has stopped working and needs to close. I went into the FSC folder in my main FSX folder and tried to start the FCDU.exe program and I get the same message. This started while I was using 1.50 and it is still happening with 1.51. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Mark
EDIT: I tried removing the FSC folder from my main FSX folder and reinstalling both the 1.50 and the 1.51 with the same result. I checked to see if it was my antivirus and even listed FCDU.exe in the exclusion list with the same result.
EDIT2: I went and deleted the FSC folder again only this time I rebooted my PC before reinstalling and all is well now. Computers are gonna be the death of me yet!

Mark,
It's good to know that it's working now, but I've no idea what the cause may have been, which is why I'll ask for your recent log files (Admin & FCDU) of these flights. We're logging more things in 1.5.1 so let's focus on them for now.
When you get a message saying the program has stopped working, were these "Windows messages?" If so, could you check your Windows Application Event log and copy / past any text from there as well?
Please email these to Dutch and myself.
And one other question - were these problems only with the A2A Cherokee, or did they occur with other aircraft??
Regards,

Travis, a email is on the way with the files you requested. I also have a problem with my registration numbers being lost and becoming unregistered during this problem. I explain it in the email also.

Mark, Dutch sent your registration, and I'm looking at your logs. I hate to say it, but none of your logs indicate anything out of the ordinary. That crash note makes me suspect some security issue, but since a reinstall has worked, we may not know until this happens for another user....
